【意大利】蒙特威尔第
蒙台威爾第出身義大利克里莫納的醫生家庭，曾在曼圖亞公爵宮廷樂隊拉中提琴，後來升任樂長。離職後，他轉任威尼斯聖馬可教堂樂長，六十五歲被授予神父之職。他寫過許多宗教作品，世俗音樂方面，則以九卷牧歌集最為膾炙人口。其牧歌往往為了塑造悲愴表情，使用不和諧的新形式，而旋律線也傾向朗讀宣敘風格，凡此種種都是對傳統的重大突破。本輯選錄蒙台威爾第七十一歲完成，於1638年所出版的《第八卷牧歌》，其內容分成《戰爭之歌》和《愛情之歌》兩大部分。學術界公認，這是充滿驚嘆之美的里程碑作品，蒙台威爾第綜合他在世俗音樂領域的所有經驗，不但寫出他個人音樂、美學和哲學的珍貴遺產，也用顛峰藝術為義大利牧歌寫作做了完美總結。雷尼．雅克伯斯原先是非常搶手的假聲男高音，後來成為古樂權威指揮家，還擔任柏林國立歌劇院首席客座指揮，所錄唱片經常獲獎。這組錄於九百年歷史方特夫勞德修道院的新片，勢必也會在各國唱片大獎耀武揚威！ [img]http://images.blogcn.com/2005/4/14/11/starfallen,20050414204229.jpg[/img] C Monteverdi: Vespro della Beata Vergine - La Chapelle Royale; Collegium Vocale; Les Saqueboutiers de Toulouse; Philippe Herreweghe - director Label - Harmonia Mundi Cat.
